Hello!

My name is Richard Nordström. I'm a game developer with a huge passion for, not only games, but also all things audio.

While these are both life-long interests for me,
studying Game Programming atFuturegames was my entry-point for working with games professionally.

2021-2024 I've been working atFall Damage. as a technical audio software engineer on our tactical FPS titleAlara Prime.

ALARA Prime is a 4v4v4 competitive tactical first-person shooter. Choose your class, utilize an array of gadgets, dominate the game or play the other teams against each other.

Working with Alara Prime...

An Unreal Engine game utilizing Wwise, I had a wide variety of audio-tech / audio programmer tasks such as;
  • Designing and implementing audio systems and features.
  • Creation of custom audio tools, to improve workflow for the audio team.
  • In-depth mixing and optimization for immersive audio while maintaining performance.
  • Spatial audio utilizing both Wwise spatial audio and Project Acoustics.
  • Wwise - UE integration and structuring of audio-assets.
